Southeastern India showing during the Seven Years War (1756-63), between the British and French armies and the very first global war.
Within India, he war was primarily staged along the Coromandel Coast in the Bay of Bengal (from modern day Pulicat (“Palijkata”) to Kottaippattinam (“Kottey Patnam”), where the East India Company (VOC) and the British East India Company (EIC) had trading posts, one of which was in Madras (now Chennai).
