The map encompasses the Virgin Islands, from the eastern coast of Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, St. Croix, Anguilla, St. Kitts, and St. Martin, and detailing the Leeward Islands and northern coast of St. Kitts. The islands are finely engraved to show topographical detail and presented with annotations of former names or namesakes, and with illustrations of elevations of the islands.
