Description:

|
Transport map of London showing the Underground and railway routes to the British Empire Exhibition of 1924. The Metropolitan Line, still nominally independent from the rest of the Underground network, is marked in red. The rest of the Underground lines are coloured blue.
Published as a promotional map by Condrup Ltd., an appliance and homegoods store located near Bank Station. An advertisement on the back of the map invites Empire Exhibition guests to visit the Condrup store to see more wonders of the modern age. Perhaps catering to the tastes of their customers, recreation sites such as the London Zoo, Arsenal Football Club, and Lord's Cricket Ground are also highlighted.
