Detailed city plan of Vienna with miniature architectural drawings on lower border. First published in the 1840s by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge (SDUK), a charitable organisation devoted to the dissemination of educational materials amongst all classes of Victorian society, especially the poorest. This example was reissued in 1879 by Thomas Letts & Co. who acquired the SDUK's maps after their dissolution in 1848.
