| A pair of 12-inch table-top library globes, one celestial and one terrestrial. Both in polished, dark wood stands with brass full meridians and with compasses in the base. The terrestrial globe is dated 1827 and the celestial globe is dated 1800. It is not uncommon for pairs of library globes to have mismatched dates as terrestrial globes were constantly kept up to date, whilst celestial globes were only occasionally updated as the constellations were not often changed.
