Large antique chart focusing solely on the southwest coast of Singapore Island from the city to the west coast.
Due to the size of the chart and its focus, it shows extraordinary detail, including areas labelled as wooded, marshland and even "conspicuous trees". The cartouche states that this is a "preliminary chart" and features a list of surveyors responsible for this extraordinary work, together with their ships.
