Description:

|
Detailed street plan of Southeast London, including Rotherhithe, Deptford, the Isle of Dogs, and Peckham. Originally drawn and engraved by Edward Weller, the large 9-sheet map of London of which this is the southeast section, was republished in 1863 by the firm of Cassell, Petter & Galpin. It was then printed once more in 1868 with updates added by John Dower. In this 1868 edition additional emphasis is given to the newly-built railways, marked here in pink.
