This map is one of a series of collectible trade card published by the Arbuckle Brothers Coffee Company, one of the largest coffee sellers in the United States in the 1890s. Every 1lb bag of Arbuckle Brothers coffee contained a card showing a principal nation of the world, a U.S. state or territory, or a wild animal. Customers were encouraged to complete the sets by purchasing more Arbuckle Brothers Coffee.
