Description:

|
Charming map of the Archduchy of Austria, which included parts of Italy, Slovenia, Germany, and Czechia. Based on a map first issued by Pieter van der Aa in 1713, but here republished in Amsterdam by the firm of Covens & Mortier.
The map is decorated with a title cartouche featuring a panoramic view, possibly of Vienna, below a portrait of the Austrian Hapsburg Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV (1685-1740).
