| Oxfordshire. A fine map of the county from the 1627 edition of Speed's seminal atlas, 'The Theatre of Great Britaine'. This was the first complete county atlas of England, and one of the greatest achievements in English cartography. The map is decorated with a city plan of Oxford and the arms of all of the Colleges.
