Map of Sicily published under the umbrella of the Weimar Landes Industrie Comptoirs owned by Friedrich Justin Bertuch and three years before the founding of a dedicated Geograhical Institute within his conglomerate.
The map is attributed to F. Goetze who was one of the more active map makers involved with Bertuch. The map has been printed onto the characteristic Weimar paper which has been dyed a very light blue. Original hand colour. [IT3404] |
