Early English map of Europe based on Visscher and Blaeu with bird's-eye city views in the upper and lower margins, and with portraits of "ordinary" Europeans in the side margins.
The upper margins features views of London, Prague, Rome, Antwerp, and Amsterdam, along with portraits of King Charles II and an unnamed Holy Roman Emperor. The lower margin contains views of Paris, Seville, Gdansk, Stockholm, and Hamburg, along with portraits of the Kings of France, Spain, Denmark, and Sweden.
In the side margins are full-body portraits of men and women from France, Italy, Denmark, England, Germany, Poland, Belgium, and Spain wearing traditional clothing.
