| A Sea Chart of Fuerteventura surveyed by Lieutenat Arlett R. N. Published according to an act of Parliament at the Hydrographic Office of the Admirlty in June 26th 1848. Large corrections were made for this publishing in June 1865. The chart includes figures on the land, showing height by feet and anchorage soundings along the coast in fathoms. The three compasses set around the island show magnetic variation. The south Eastern side of Fuerteventura is shown in profile along the left side of the map noting Asses Ears, Matas blancas, Morro de Tarrajal, Las Playas, White Streak, and Lantailla Point. The inset to the top left is of the tip of the south west peninsula. (SL) [AFR3821] |
