The view below the map of London is of Westwood house, bought by John de Coussmaker in 1720. A native of the Low Countries. Tradition has it that he followed in the train of William of Orange who took the throne in 1688. Westwood House is here portrayed as an encampment for those that had joined the cause of William of Orange during the Glorious Revolution. Men practising forms of combat including sword fighting.
